Endorsing One Thing....But Rockin Another: Meek Mill Officially "Endorsing" Skullcandy Headphones

Or is he? Add "headphone deal" to the standard career itinerary of a rapper on the come up, right alongside "debut album," "sneaker deal" and "clothing line"; and not necessarily in that order. Meek Mill took to Twitter to announce that he scored a headphone deal with Skullcandy.

"Just signed new deal wit skull candy today...time 2 get it!!," tweeted the "Amen" rapper.

Previously Skullcandy teamed with Roc Nation to create a line of "Aviator" headphones. Not so coincidentally, Roc Nation manages the Philadelphia rapper.

Despite having strong ties with Reebok, Meek recently signed an endorsement deal with Puma.

Looking for some irony, though? In a recent photo (see rght) that he shared on Twitter, the Maybach Music Group MC is seen in the recording booth rocking a pair of Beats By Dre headphones. Skull Candy, hook up your knew client with some product, stat. Meek Mill's debut album, Dream & Nightmares, is due in stores October 30th.
