More Setbacks For The Darkman: Legal Battle Erupts Over DMX's "Undisputed" Album

Drama just seems to follow DMX around. A legal dispute has started between Seven Arts Entertainment and In The Zone Entertainment over who has the rights to distribute DMX's most recent project, "Undisputed". The lawsuit claims In The Zone Ent. executives Sussman and Gullo have been impeding on Seven Arts Entertainment's ability to distribute the album. Sussman and Gullo of course claim they also have the rights to distribution.

It seems Sussman and Gullo originally purchased the right to release the album, but failed to pay over $500,000 in fees. Seven Arts eventually paid this off and proceeded to distribute "Undisputed".

Seven Arts Ent. is seeking an injunction against Sussman and Gullo to stop their distribution of the album, in addition to $6 million.
