Moving Things Quickly: Chad Johnson Pleads Not Guilty In Assault Case Involving His Wife Evelyn Lozada

Chad Johnson has entered a plea of not guilty this morning to charges of misdemeanor battery in a case involving his soon to be ex-wife Evelyn Lozada.

The former NFL player was formerly charged on Wednesday (September 12) in the case.

Lozada accuses Johnson of head butting her during an argument that stemmed from her finding a receipt for a box of condoms in Johnson's car. If convicted Johnson faces up to a year in jail according to TMZ.

The not guilty plea was entered by Johnson's attorney in Broward County Court. Johnson was not present.
