Benjamin Bishop, 18, used a shotgun he bought after pawning electronics to kill his mother and her boyfriend, because he says the medication she was giving him was killing him.
Bishop had just returned home from a 10-month long stay in rehab, but lost control after having an argument over his new prescription medication. Pinellas Sheriff Bob Gualtieri said on Sunday, "Apparently, Benjamin became very upset with his mother because he didn't like the medication. He felt that the medication was killing him. So he decided that he was going to kill his mother and her boyfriend."
Bishop had been previously diagnosed with schizophrenia, and reportedly had a problem with bath salts. Back in July 2011, Bishop tried to strangle his mom and was put on probation for it.
