Relationship Back Off Rocks: Kobe Bryant & Wife Reconcile, End Divorce Proceedings

Mr. Anti-Social is not only getting more and more social by the day, but he's no longer getting divorced.

Kobe Bryant and wife, Vanessa, announced that they are not splitting and used social media to inform the public.

From the New York Daily News:

After a year-long split, Kobe Bryant is ready to give marriage with wife Vanessa another shot. The couple announced their decision to get back together on social media.

"We are pleased to announce that we have reconciled," Vanessa Bryant posted on Instagram this Friday. "Our divorce action will be dismissed. We are looking forward to our future together."

The Bryants' marriage was shaken up after Kobe admitted to infidelity in 2003. The L.A. Lakers star was charged with sexually assaulting a woman in Colorado. Kobe insisted that he thought the sex was consensual. The 19-year-old who was involved in the case didn't want to go ahead with the trial, so the charges were later dropped.
Vanessa Bryant stood by her man throughout the proceedings, saying that the only thing he was guilty of was "the mistake of adultery."

The couple, who share two children, have had a rocky relationship, and reportedly split due to Kobe's alleged continuos cheating. In 2011, Vanessa filed for divorce citing "irreconcilable differences," but before long she and the children were still showing their public support for the shooting guard by attending his games.

With his relationship back on track, one thing that hasn't changed is the Lakers' losing streak. The purple and gold lost to the Oklahoma Thunder Friday (Jan. 11), 116-101. Lakers play the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight, and for all their fans, here's hoping that his relationship news will translate to a team win.
