Melowese Richardson, an Ohio woman and avid Obama supporter who worked at the polls in 2013 is being accused of voter fraud, after she may have voted for Mr. Obama six different times.
She admits to voting twice--once at the polls, and once with an absentee ballot--because she did not believe her absentee ballot would count.
"Yes, I voted twice," she said. "I, after registering thousands of people, certainly wanted my vote to count, so I voted. I voted at the polls."
When asked about the investigation being undertaken, she responded, "I'll fight it for Mr. Obama and for Mr. Obama's right to sit as president of the United States.
As far as the other four votes goes, Richardson also admitted to voting for her granddaughter through an absentee ballot. Despite her granddaughter "giving her permission," this is still nonetheless illegal. The other three votes matched Richardson's handwriting and were all submitted together with the vote from her granddaughter.
