"UPDATE* Rough Week: 2 Chainz Caught With Weed And Syrup At LAX. Arrested & Charged With Possession

2 Chainz was just arrested after being caught for weed at Los Angeles International Airport. The rapper was trying to catch a plane in terminal five when he got popped.

He was arrested and is currently being booked for possession of marijuana according to TMZ.

TMZ reports that 2 Chainz was also caught with Promethazine, one of the two main ingredients in syrup.

The rapper was on board a plane ready to take off when TSA officials found the drugs in his luggage. He was taken off of the airplane and placed under arrest. Less than an ounce of weed was also found.

In the past Tity Boi has not shied away from talking about his syrup drinking habit. He was booked on felony narcotics possession.
