Rondo And Woodson Speak On Carmelo's Incident With Garnett

Despite working out their differences off the court, Carmelo Anthony will serve a one-game suspension for seeking Kevin Garnett at the Celtics team bus following their recent loss to the Celtics. Melo claims he just wanted to have "a one-on-one conversation with him" but the league saw things differently.

Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo commented on the incident, saying he had no idea what was going on when he saw commotion in the bus area. "I thought everybody was coming to talk to each other and figure out some things, going to dinner next time," said Rondo. "I don't know."

Knicks Coach Mike Woodson responded to the situation saying, "The bottom line is we lost our composure last night and that can't happen. It's my job to make sure that doesn't happen again and that players just worry about playing."

Anthony told reporters that Garnetts words took him out of his rhythm and allowed "negativity to come into [his] circle."
