According to TMZ, Nelly's bus was stopped at a border patrol checkpoint in Sierra Blanca -- and a police canine detected the presence of drugs. The police then found 36 small baggies of heroin, over ten pounds of marijuana inside a large green duffel bag and a loaded .45 pistol.
Brian Keith Jones, one of the seven people aboard Nelly's bus at the time admitted that the drugs and the gun were his and he was placed under arrest. The other six passengers on the bus, including Nelly, were all free to go after Jones was arrested.
