Lucky Break: Too Short Won't Be Charged With Felony Drug Possession Following Recent DUI Arrest

Too Short can breathe a sigh of relief this morning after learning he won't be charged with felony drug possession.

As we previously reported, Short was pulled over for a suspected DUI last Wednesday. During a field sobriety test the 46-year old rapper attempted to flee on foot, but was caught and placed under arrest.

Police claimed that he dumped narcotics in the back seat of a police cruiser. The drugs turned out to be meth. Short was charged with felony drug possession.

The L.A. County District Attorney took a look at the case and ruled that the amount of drugs found was too small to charge Short with a felony and has sent the case over to the L.A. City Attorney for misdemeanor review
