History Made: The Bronx Being Honored In Washington D.C. For Creating Hip Hop

The Bronx, New York City's perpetually troubled borough, is usually connected to negative news. Thankfully, The Bronx is finally being recognized for its positive contributions.

A new exhibit at the Smithsonian in Washington D.C. will be called "Place of Invention," and will feature the Bronx for its primary role in the creation of Hip Hop.

"I think it's really cool that they're doing this." said Grand Wizzard Theodore, the generally accepted inventor of record scratching. "People need to know the history behind it all."

The Bronx should really embrace this even more than they have.
