In addition his his role on The Sopranos, Gandolfini had many scene stealing roles in movies like Fallen, True Romance, 8MM, Killing Them Softly, Zero Dark Thirty and many more.
The actor was on vacation in Italy with his teen son, Michael, when he suffered a heat attack in his hotel bathroom. His son found him and alerted hotel staff. Gandolfini was rushed to Policlinico Umberto I hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He was 51-years old.
