Makin' Moves: Mike Tyson To Star As Animated Character On Adult Swim Cartoon

Mike Tyson has been on the big screen and on Broadway. He will next appear on your television screen as an animated character in a new Adult Swim cartoon.

The network announced Friday that the former boxing champion will voice a character and make live action appearances on the "Mike Tyson Mysteries."

On the show, a cartoon version of Tyson will solve wacky problems, assisted by a trusty associate: a foul-mouthed pet pigeon.

The show is set to air next season according to the New York Daily News.

Mike Tyson is hoping that "Obamacare" will help him pay off the millions he owes in back taxes. Instead of running from the debt, the former boxing champ announced on Fox News that he is "looking forward" to paying his bills .

Tyson -- who has been "blue-collering it" by way of one-man show and various other gigs-- told Fox & Friends host Brian Kilmeade that he's ready to send Uncle Sam a check.

"I'm so proud to be in this," he said. "I look forward to paying off my taxes and paying off my country, because that's my duty."

But he also understands the conspiracy theorists. "I know they say that's legal extortion, but listen, I'm living in this country and if I got to pay taxes, that's the money that I paid for my life on Earth."

From there Tyson traveled down memory lane, saying that despite having "the biggest liberal family in the world," his money was better off under Republican presidents. "I had the more money when Bush and Reagan was president! Oh I shouldn't -- my wife's going to kill me for that."

"Bush and Reagan had this idea that you should keep your money," Kilmeade added.

Once worth an estimated $400 million, the now bankrupt sports star is hoping that the Obama administration will save him some money. "I'd like that to work for me," he said."I'ma work on that one too with this Obama administration. See can this Obamacare help us keep some money."

Tyson Problems: Mike Tyson Says His Ex-Girlfriend Cooked & Ate One Of His Pet Pigeons

Long before Mike Tyson became father to six children, his family was a bunch of pet pigeons--one of which was cooked an eaten by his ex-girlfriend. Tyson detailed the pigeon feast in an interview on the Boomer & Carton radio show.

The retired boxing champ has been raising pigeons for much of his life, so you can imagine how he felt when one of them became dinner. 

"I was dating this young lady and she said, 'I don't know why you're flying those damn birds, you should be eating them,'" he said. "She happened to grab one – and she cooked one and proceeded to eat it. And I just couldn't do it."

Since they were living in her house off "her dime," Iron Mike feels his ex had a right to eat the bird, but said the move "wasn't cool."

Needless to say, Tyson broke up with the woman over her pigeon-eating ways, and today he subscribes to a vegan lifestyle.

Also, if you're wondering how she cooked the bird, Tyson said she dropped it in "some boiling stuff."
