Gucci Mane pleaded not guilty to aggravated assault charges in Atlanta today according to TMZ. The 1017 Brick Squad CEO stands accused of hitting a soldier over the head with a champagne bottle at Harlem Nights in March.
James Lettley claims he approached a security guard near where Gucci, real nameRadric Davis, was sitting and asked if he could get get a picture. Instead, Lettley claims Gucci attacked him. His head wound required 10 stitches to close.
Gucci was arrested on March 27th, and later indicted. He spent several weeks in jail before posting $75,000 bail.
The assault charges were a violation of Guwop's probation. After being freed on April 12th, he was rearrested the next day. The rapper was eventually released again on May 2nd.
