Now In Atlanta: Two suspected robbers die in a SUV wreck in northwest Atlanta.

ATLANTA, Ga. —

Police say two suspected robbers died in a SUV wreck in northwest Atlanta.
The accident happened at Joseph Lowery Boulevard near Wheeler Street in northwest Atlanta.
Police say the crash may be tied to a robbery that happened near Atlantic Station and that they were possibly being followed by their victims.
“We were not involved in any type of pursuit, resulting in this accident,” said Atlanta Police Department’s Sgt. Greg Lyon. “There is a possibility, that the victims were following the perpetrators.  But all of that is being verified right now."
The victims, a man and a woman, were already at the scene when police arrived.
When the car was inspected, police say they recovered what they believe are the stolen items.
Police say the Jeep probably hit a train crossing on Lowery Boulevard, lost control, hit a fire hydrant, then hit a silver power pole before going up an embankment.
The Jeep was so smashed; firefighters had to actually cut the top off to get the two men out.

Atlanta police are talking to witnesses after a man was shot and killed outside Grady Memorial Hospital Thursday afternoon. Police said the man was shot on Armstrong Street and was transported to the hospital where he later died. Witness Benette Shields told the Atlanta Journal Constitution she was standing outside Grady when she saw a man walking when he was approached by a burgundy car. “I think he knew they were behind him because he sped up,” she said. Date Solidified: 2 Chainz Reveals Release Date For New Album

2 Chainz’ sophomore album doesn’t have an official name yet, but according to the Atlanta rapper it does have a release date. 2 Chainz spoke with MTV News on the set of B.O.B.’s new video for “Headband” and revealed he plans for his next LP to drop September 10th. That date is two days before his 36th birthday on September 12th.


“We should all celebrate the week of the 10th man, I’m just really adding gasoline or adding steroids to what I was already doing as far as locking down the club, locking down the streets,” said Chainz. “Just really giving it to you from my heart man and also enjoying life, enjoying getting this paper. You feel me?”

Chainz debuted his brand new single “”Feds Watching” this past Sunday at Hot 97′s Summer Jam. The track will be available for purchase next Tuesday.
