BREAKING NEWS Migos' Bus Sprayed With Bullets In Florida, One Hurt

A party van carrying the hip-hop group Migos was shot at in Miami-Dade County early Friday morning (March 28), according to multiple reports. "Around 3:30 in the morning, that van was traveling southbound [on I-95] with eight occupants, [including] members of the entertainment group Migos," Joe Sanchez of Florida Highway Patrol told NBC6 of South Florida. "For whatever unknown reason, a vehicle drove next to them and opened fire on them [with] several rounds. There was an exchange of gunfire between both vehicles, and the other vehicle fled." Someone in the Atlanta rap trio's camp was allegedly hit, though it's currently unclear who. The van then headed to the trauma center at Jackson Memorial Hospital, where that individual was being treated for what Sanchez claimed was "not a life-threatening wound." According to a report by WSVN of Miami/Fort Lauderdale, the shooting occurred shortly after Migos were scheduled to perform at a nearby club called Cafe Iguana. "Apparently, for whatever reason, there was an altercation or disagreement with management and they didn't perform," Sanchez told the station.

New Orleans Shooter Identified: Police ID 19-Year-Old Suspect

Police in New Orleans have named a 19-year-old man, accused in the weekend shooting during a Mother's Day parade. Akein Scott was identified through surveillance video which showed him first walking up to the shooting incident, and then running away.  Several witnesses positively identified Scott, who is still on the run. "The important thing for Akein Scott now is to turn himself in," Police Superintendent Ronal Serpas said yesterday night.

Authorities searched three separate locations in hopes of finding the teen, and are assured that he will be brought to justice. "We are coming to find him. We will find him," Serpas added.

A total of 19 people, included two 1o-year-old children, were injured in the incident.

Although a motive has not been announced, Scott has a previous rap sheet. In February 2012, he was arrested for and charged with illegal possession of a firearm. Nearly a year later, the youngster was popped on charges of resisting arrest, possession of heroin and stolen firearms, illegally carrying weapons, and illegally carrying weapons with a controlled dangerous substance. Most of the aforementioned charges were dropped.

Police originally believe three people carried out the shootings, it is unclear if they are in search of additional suspects.

12 shot, including 10yo child during Mother’s Day parade in New Orleans

Twelve people are being treated for gunshot wounds following a shootout at a second line parade on Mother’s Day in New Orleans. The youngest victim in the surprise attack was 10 years old, according to a local resident.

Over 100 people were participating in the residential festival, on Frenchmen Street, in the north of the city, when several shots were fired. The incident occurred around 2pm local time on Sunday.

Police confirmed the number of casualties stood at 12 following some discrepancies in initial hospital reports, suggesting that between five and 11 may have been injured.

Police believe three suspects were responsible for the gunfire. A door-to-door search is being conducted in the hopes of tracing one or more of them.

“The shots just started ringing out, and everybody just started running, and the next thing I heard, 10-15 people got shot,” one witness told local station WDSU.

No fatalities have been confirmed, but three are reportedly in a critical condition.

A week ago, police were also called out to investigate a triple shooting near the corner of Frenchman street.

Police and local media had appealed for anyone with information on the incident to contact crime stoppers in the hope of tracing the gunman, or gunmen.
