BREAKING NEWS: Love & Hip Hop Star Benzino Shot Multiple Times Leaving His Mother’s Funeral

This is horrifying to say the very least…and we do mean the VERY least! According to rashaentertainment.com , rapper and Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star Benzino was shot while attending his mother’s funeral and is in critical condition. Allegedly, Benzino was shot three times while driving away from the funeral in the funeral procession. It is reported that it was his own nephew that did the shooting and that the nephew is currently in custody. Benzino announced earlier in the week that his mother had passed via his twitter account. Said Zino, “God knows I have been through alot in my life, BUT EVERY INCH OF GOOD, KINDNESS AND LOVE IN MY SOUL IS BECAUSE OF THIS WOMAN. A BIG PART OF ME IS LOST NOW AND I WILL NEVER BE THE SAME, MA WORDS CANT EXPRESS MY LOVE FOR YOU.I WILL MISS EVERY BREATHING MOMENT, I DON’T KNOW HOW I WILL CONTINUE KNOWING YOU ARE NOT HERE. Im lost.” Benzino reportedly traveled back to his hometown of Boston for today’s funeral services and WCVB Boston, is reporting that the local police say one gunshot victim was taken to South Shore Hospital and was still alive. Witnesses told NewsCenter 5 that the shooting took place during a funeral procession. Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz said, “The incident was between two vehicles whose occupants knew each other. The driver of a Bentley shot the driver of a red Dodge SUV, who exited his car and was taken to the Duxbury police station by a passerby. The injured red Dodge SUV driver, who officials say was in his 40s, was then transported by ambulance to the hospital.The Bentley driver has been arrested and will be arraigned Monday on a charge of armed assault with intent to murder.” There is no word yet from Benzino’s camp, VH1 or Mona Scott Young.

Atlanta police are talking to witnesses after a man was shot and killed outside Grady Memorial Hospital Thursday afternoon. Police said the man was shot on Armstrong Street and was transported to the hospital where he later died. Witness Benette Shields told the Atlanta Journal Constitution she was standing outside Grady when she saw a man walking when he was approached by a burgundy car. “I think he knew they were behind him because he sped up,” she said. Then she said she heard three shots.

RIP: HUSTLE GANG ARTIST DOE B SHOT AND KILLED

The hip-hop community is mourning the loss of one of its rising stars. Hustle Gang rapper Doe B was shot and killed in Alabama on Saturday.





The Montgomery, Alabama native, born Glenn Thomas, was reportedly killed in a fatal shooting that occurred at Centennial Hill Bar and Grill (formerly Rose Supper Club) in his hometown in the early hours of December 28, according to various tweets.


His Hustle Gang boss T.I. shared the sad news on Instagram. “RIP to my lil brother Doe B,” wrote Tip. “We gon miss u my nigga. U’ll never be forgotten & U WILL NOT DIE IN VAIN. We Love U champ. Always. Just rest now my nigga….WE GOT IT From here.”


A rep from Doe B’s management confirmed his death, tweeting, “On behalf of doe b’s management i would like to thank all of his fans and say Rest in Peace my brother Glenn thomas aka @CBMDOEB.”


His manager, DJ Frank White, vowed to put an end to the senseless violence. “I will do everything i can to see the rose never open. How many people gotta be fuckin killed. ??? Yall let guns in the club??” he wrote.


His peers including Drake, Soulja Boy, Trae Tha Truth, Machine Gun Kelly, and Meek Mill took to social media to express their sympathy.


“RIP Doe B,” tweeted Drake, while MGK added, “Damn. RIP Doe B. this rap shits crazy right now. Condolences to his family. Clubs keep lettin guns in the club as if that’s not where we as artists work. We got families to go home to, fuck is wrong with y’all.”


The rapper, who was previously shot in the eye three years ago, was buildingbuzz following the release of his latest mixtape Baby Je$us over the summer.

RIP Lil Snupe, Meek Mill Artist, Dead At 18

Emerging rapper Lil Snupe, a recent signee to Meek Mill's Dream Chaser's label, died this morning (June 20), according to multiple sources including AllHipHop and XXL.


The 18-year old Louisiana rapper was reportedly shot and killed, though no official details, including the location, have been released. Sources tell Billboard the artist lives in Baton Rouge, however no homicides with a similarly aged victim occurred in the area overnight. Some previous articles written about Snupe have listed Jonesboro, La., about 80 miles east of Shreveport, as his hometown.


His manager, DJ Smallz and Dream Chasers' Louie V Gutta tweeted of Lil Snupe's death this morning.





Meek Mill signed Snupe to Dream Chasers last year after listening to his mixtape for 20 minutes, the late Louisiana rapper told MTV News in February. "He was in a van, they was finna pull off. And I went and knocked on the van, on the window. They let the window down, grabbed the mixtape and it was like 10 minutes later, 20 minutes later they called me," he said.


"He was spittin' so much pain, he's from the south with a flow like an east coast guy," Meek told MTV.


Snupe repped his home state in his last tweet, "i Hold it Down 4 Louisiana."

Getting Crazier: roducer AraabMUZIK Shot During Robbery Attempt. Recovering In Hospital

AraabMuzik is currently in the hospital recovering from a gunshot wound suffered on Wednesday. The super producer known for his work with The Diplomats, Slaughterhouse, Lloyd Banks, Azealia Banks and many others was apparently in his own neighborhood when the robbery attempt went down.

His camp issued a statement to Billboard on Thursday.


"Rumors have begun to circulate and first and foremost, we want to let everyone know that AraabMUZIK is currently alive and well. He was out in his neighborhood last night with friends and unfortunately the victim of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. He is recovering now and police are investigating the crime. We appreciate all the concern and fan support and Araab is looking forward to a speedy recovery and returning to the stage as soon as he can."
